Diane Knox Board of Selectmen

A current member of the Board of Selectmen, Diane’s history of serwice to the cornmunity also includes two six-year terns on the Board of Education and serving as its chair from 1997 until 2005. Subsequently, she also served for two years on the Board of Finance, and is also a member of the local Cable TV Advisory Council. This broad range of public service gives Diane unique insights into the needs of our town and in particular the tasks of building and living within a budget. Diane is a long-time teacher in the Torrington public schools and received her B.S. in elementary education from Southem Connecticut State University.
