HEALTH CARE ACTION DAY #2 AT THE CAPITOL APRIL 18
Please spread the word about our April 18 Health Care Action Day #2! We are going back to the legislature to remind legislators about the importance of
- putting ACA protections into Connecticut law
- restoring Medicaid for people who are elderly/disabled, for HUSKY A parents and for other Medicaid beneficiaries
- controlling prescription drug prices and
- studying a Medicaid public option
We’re planning to be at the legislature from 2:30 to 5:30. Some details still need to be determined (gathering places, end of event action, state of play for some issues) but we need to start getting the word out. Pls. make appointments to speak with your legislators (or their aides) about protecting our health care.
Details are also on the Protect Our Care CT website https://www.protectourcarect.org/upcoming-events/2018/4/18/health-care-action-day-2 and Facebook page.
Thanks for spreading the word. Details will be posted on the website and Facebook event page as they become available.
