Town Meeting re: Bantam Annex Future

Following the Bantam Annex walk-thru on Saturday April 27, 10 am-3 pm, residents will gather at Litchfield Firehouse on April 30, 7 pm to discuss what they learned and potential future uses of the Bantam Annex (former Bantam School). Board of Selectmen are discussing demolition of the building following the December referendum where a proposal to give away the $1.1M property to Litchfield Housing Trust was denied by a 2-1 margin.  Now the question is what to do with this 60 year-old town-owned building that needs $3M in repairs and replacements to keep it operational.
