The referendum will ask voters if they approve

  1. The town accepting the courthouse as a gift and spending up to $7.6 million to convert the building into a town hall.
  2. A proposal by the Selectmen to transfer ownership of the former Bantam School and its 10.5 acres to the Litchfield Housing Trust for an affordable housing project.
