What's Happening

Thank you!

We are so thrilled that the voters of Litchfield turned out on November 4 in support of our Democratic candidates. Thanks to you:

  • Denise Raap was re-elected as our First Selectman.
  • Jeff Zullo and Jodiann Tenney were re-elected as Selectmen, retaining a Democratic majority on the Board.
  • Jennine Lupo was re-elected to the Board of Finance along with new candidate John Keilty.
  • Erich Marriott was elected as our new town Treasurer (pending confirmation via a recount on November 10).
  • Rob Lupo was re-elected to the Planning & Zoning Commission to a full seat.
  • Gayle Carr was re-elected to the Board of Assessment Appeals.
  • New candidates Stephen Healy and Patrick Allers were elected to alternate seats on P&Z and Board of Finance respectively.

These results are a reflection of the dedication, hard work and strength of our local candidates, who are committed to serving this incredible town. A big thank you also to Nerice Gerena and Zack Miller-Murphy on their first time runs for office – they both had a strong showing at the polls and we know they have a solid future in our local party.
